Ladies, mark your calendars for the GROW (God Renewing Our Women) fall and winter gatherings.
October 18: Cindi Selph will be our guest at the first GROW of the new season, October 18, 2025 (note this date on the 3rd Saturday, not the 2nd) Cindi learned how to crochet just so she could make Mats of Love for the homeless. The 4x6' mats offer a layer of protection for the homeless who sleep wherever they can find a spot, such as on the ground or sidewalk. She is delighted to come and show us how to prepare the plastic grocery bags into strips, then into a ball and finally into a mat. Attendees are encouraged to bring a pair of scissors for the project. Stay tuned for more information and a breakfast sign-up via SignUp Genius. December 13: Loaves of Love Cookie Packages. Help our community food bank share the holiday spirit by bringing homemade Christmas cookies to our morning meeting at 9am. We will enjoy our breakfast, then assemble a container of goodies for each family in the LoL program in time for their December distribution. More info to follow via email and our Elam newsletter.
